FROSTBURG, Md., April 1, 2017 — It is, by all accounts, Spring. Someone must have forgotten to tell Mother Nature.

Nick Saveleski leads his heat of the 800-meter run. He won the heat, and also completed his first collegiate 1,500 run.
Members of the Frostburg State University men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams endured the elements on a very un-Spring-like day during which temperatures stayed in the low 40s with winds up to 13 miles per hour and a steady, light rain. FSU officials used the Water Hog to get most of the standing water off the track, but it did nothing for the muddy mosh pits for the field events.
