Trojans set to host 2013 XC regional championship
January 26, 2013 — For the third time in four years, Hampshire High School has been selected to host the Class AAA Region II cross country championship races on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 in Romney, WV. Stay tuned for complete details.

SHORT GAP, W.Va., Oct. 18, 2012 — The Potomac Highlands Distance Club has been proud to time this championship event for the past two years at Hampshire High School.
For 2012, the club is happy to announce it will be timing the WV Class AA/A Region II Championship at Frankfort High School in Short Gap.

Coaches there is a change from last year for the number of teams required at regionals for state qualifying. Regional Memo was incorrect in the qualifying teams. Here is the correct numbers.
1 Team Starts – 1 Team Qualifies
2-5 Teams Start – 2 Teams Qualify
6-9 Teams Start – 3 Teams Qualify
10+ Teams Start – 4 Teams Qualify
