GREEN RIDGE STATE FOREST, Md., Dec. 10, 2012 — The Potomac Highlands Distance Club would like to extend official finishers of any of the first three Fire on the Mountain 50K (pres. by Sheetz) trail races a special Christmas offer.
If your name appears in the official results in the official FOTM results, individual or relay events, in 2010, 2011 or 2012, then you are eligible to secure your 2013 entry at the lowest possible price between now and the end of the 2012. The 2013 event date is Sunday, Oct. 27.
Due to an unexpected increase in certain expenses, we know the entry fee for the 2013 race will go up to an “early entry fee” of $40. This is a chance to save you money. Let’s face it, who isn’t already planning out their 2013 ultra calendar? We hope you consider putting FOTM on your race schedule again next fall.
Remember, members of certain clubs – including the Potomac Highlands Distance Club – receive an even larger discount (and that’s even applied to this special offer!) Not yet a member? A membership application is attached, and we hope you consider joining us for not only the FOTM but also some of the other club races on the 2013 club calendar (still a work in progress, but here’s what we have so far):
