INWOOD, W.Va., Dec. 2, 2012 — A recordsetting field of more than 400 runners and walkers toed the start line of the South Berkeley Christmas Parade 5K, a 3.1-mile jaunt that begins and ends at Musselman High School.
While humans — male and female — were the first and only paid entrants to cross the finish line, the day belonged to the dogs — and cats and all the other creatures cared for by the Berkeley County Humane Society.
A link to an online gallery of more than 420 photos, all of which can be downloaded at no cost, will be available later this evening. Results will be linked to as soon as they become available.
