Golden Tornado sweep Yellow Jackets
MARCH 19 -- Keyser boys tennis record moves to 1-1 with 7-0 sweep over Moorefield on Friday.
Cody Lambka, Walter Valencis, Matthew Wratchford, and Levi Spencer all of Keyser won their singles matches to give the hometeam a 4-0 lead and sealing the victory before heading into the doubles play.
The Keyser boys then put together three perfect double matches by winng all three matches by the score of 8-0.
Keyser will host Fort Hill this March 23 at 4 p.m. at the swimming pool courts off U.S. Route 220.

Spencer leads Keyser in loss to Petersburg
PETERSBURG, W.Va., March 17 -- The Keyser boys tennis team dropped their opening match of the 2011 season at Petersburg last Thursday, March 17. Petersburg took three of four singles and one doubles match to beat Keyser 4-3 in its season opener.
Dan Alt, Will George, and Brandon Kivett took the first three singles matches for Petersburg. Alt and George then teamed up at the No. 1 doubles to seal the home team's victory.
Levi Spencer, playing number 4 position for Keyser gave the visiting team their only victory in singles.
Spencer then teamed up with Matthew Wratchford to win No. 2 doubles.

Keyser boys move to 6-1 after win over Miners
FROSTBURG, April 7 -- The Keyser boys’ tennis team moved to 6-1 with a win on Thursday over Mountain Ridge.
Keyser took one of two singles matches and two of three doubles matches to earn the victory.
Walter Valcenis won at number 2 singles giving Keyser an early point.
Levi Spencer and teammate Matthew Wratchford captured number 1 doubles. Brandon Taylor and Joel Whitlock sealed the victory by winning number 2 doubles.
The Western Maryland schools have changed their format from four singles and three doubles to two singles and three doubles with no repeats. This format brings them in line with other Maryland schools.
