FROSTBURG, April 11 -- A week after handing over her 2010 Miss Allegany County's Outstanding Teen crown, 17-year-old Hollie Robertson earned the title of Miss Frostburg and will compete in June in the annual Miss Maryland Pageant.

Robertson, a senior at Mountain Ridge High School, was selected among five contestants who each underwent scrutiny in five phases: a 10-minute press conference-style interview before a five-judge panel, a swimsuit competition, an on-stage question-and-answer session and evening wear competition. For the talent section, the Frostburg Dance Academy student danced to "It's Raining Men," written in 1979 and recorded by The Weather Girls in 1982. Robertson's number was choreographed by FDA instructor Nicki Brehm.

Whitney Durr, of Boonsboro, won the title of Miss Frostburg Teen.

Robertson next competes June 19-24 at The Maryland Theater in Hagerstown in the prestigious Miss Maryland Pageant. The winner there advances to compete for the title of Miss America.

Robertson intends to enroll at West Virginia University in Morgantown this fall and study nursing.
