Training Run No. 1 - Sunday, Aug. 14

First training run for 2011 is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 14. Details below:

* We will be running the first 8.9 (ish) miles, which includes about 1.2 mile on road and about 7.7 miles on what is mostly single track trail.

* We will be meeting across from the Green Ridge Youth Center at 7:45 a.m. This is located by taking Interstate 68 to Exit 62 (turn left if coming from east, turn right if coming from west). We will drive to the finish area (which is Aid Station 2) and take as many vehicles as necessary to the start (and figure out logistics of getting everyone where they need to be - no worries, this works out every time).

* These training runs are self-supported. You are responsible for your own water, gels, etc., as well as for finding your way back if you get lost (but if you're one of our designated drivers and still have your car key, chances increase that we will wait for you).

* Click here for course info - pictures, map, etc. Sorry, it's slow loading due to large files.
